My Favorite Astrophysicist

Neil Degrasse Tyson is my favorite Astrophysicist. He is super smart, so that's a plus. He is also host of the best show on public TV: Nova Science Now He recently gave a talk at TAM6 (The Amazing Meeting) sponsored by the JREF (James Randi Educational Foundation). I'd like to go to the next TAM.

Anyway, in this video, Tyson talks about many of the greatest scientific minds (think Newton.) He explains that even the smartest of the smart people can reach a point where they can explain things with their science. Often these great minds will then attribute the unexplained to a divine power of some kind (ie...god, God, Allah, Yawah, Jehovah, Thor, Ra). Luckily for us, more smart people come along to figure out what they couldn't.
