Spent the day on Lake Minnetonka celebrating Arctic Fever

I had fun on Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior today. Excelsior Brewing Co sponsored a fat tire bike race and lots of people came out to play.

The bike race became wicked pretty fast. It was moderately windy all day but shortly after the race started the wind really picked up. Since this race was a fat tire race, the participants weren't supposed to have studded tires. Well...the lake didn't have much snow as you can see in the photo on the right. Once the wind really took off, it knocked over the riders like bowling pins.

The ice sail boat people sure had fun though.
